About The Connection

In October 2015, Dan Roberts launched The Connection Tutoring Center in East Memphis as an educational community partner to both Memphis families and schools.  Based on our community’s feedback, The Connection intentionally expanded in two areas: Learners’ ages and academic subjects.  The Connection offers small-group and private tutoring to K-12, college, and adult learners.  While we specialize in mathematics, our instruction is also available in science, literacy, and standardized test prep.  As a community partner, we also work with local schools and organizations to provide academic support and sponsorship.

With most of our instructors holding a Bachelors/Masters degree and teaching experience, our qualified staff help students of all ages by identifying possible learning gaps – or needs for extension – and tailoring instruction accordingly.  When students connect with us, they strengthen skills, build confidence, and erase stress.
